Ainsley Reid Retained search have partnered with one of the world’s largest distributors of chemicals and consumables to the Aerospace, Automotive and Pharmaceutical industries. Our partner would like to hire a Sales Associate.

The Global Strategic Account Director, is responsible for planning, developing and profitable execution of sales, pricing, marketing and product research, in alignment with the Company’s global business plans and strategic objectives. This individual will drive a strong pursuit of new business markets, as well as the expansion of existing markets, to meet or exceed the annual Company’s sales goals. This role will be responsible to grow target values, revenue and margin within our client’s chemical distribution & chemical management systems.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Articulate and Influence Global Strategic Value Propositions of Improved Profit, Improved Working Capital, Supply Chain Consolidation
  • Establish multiple levels of relationships at Executive Levels within global organisations
  • Responsible to grow all commodity sales to drive full portfolio sales and achieve targets
  • Perform complete total spend analysis while meeting the retention target percentages
  • Accountable for strategic customer growth and retention whilst developing strategy for all growth opportunities
  • Know, communicate and incorporate the clients philosophy, values, vision and objectives in all business behavior, practice and decisions
  • Meet the retention target percentages
  • Grow Existing Customers BOB in products, services and sites – complete penetration analysis
  • Coordinate with wider sakes team for local customer support
  • Lead negotiations to drive profitable revenue growth
  • Establish regular interaction with Customers assigned
  • Assure alignment with Customer needs and Strategic Direction
  • Anticipate and Manage requirements of Customer
  • Coordinate with Functions on Growth Implementations and Transitions
  • Implement Strategic Customer Reviews and Profit Improvement Processes – Cross Functioned
  • Develop complete knowledge of competitive alternatives
  • Create and share visibility of performance KPI’s/Scorecards by Client
  • Conduct and/or attend regularly scheduled or impromptu meetings, and or company-sponsored meetings or training, as required
  • Travel globally, as necessary to the essential duties of the job
